Have you tried the sldsetdocprop.exe found in C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp xxxx\SOLIDWORKS\Toolbox\data utilities
You'll save the desired toolbox part (save as) where you want it, but it remains toolbox property (toolbox icon instead of part icon in assembly tree).
Now you can use sldsetdocprop.exe to remove the toolbox state form components.
Works for other components, as well as the other way around.
Thank you both for your prompt reply!
I did try the sldsetdocprop.exe - but this requires the same action for each part and assembly in separate while we have here a 3k pcs machine with no consistency in file types.
is it posible to run the sldsetdocprop.exe with the Task Scheduler on all the vault?
Will it affect other file types as well?
Will there be other consequenses on the project (like broken references)?
I would strongly recommend to back up your files before removing the toolbox flags. If you have your toolbox parts copied locally and not linked to db than I believe removing the flag would simply change the icon in the Feature Manager Tree. I’m not sure what may be the affect if your toolbox parts are still linked to Toolbox DB.
That task manager looks pretty cool, where can it be downloaded?? does it belong to SolidWorks or is it an external app??
