We have the need from time to time to share data with a customer on the form, fit and function of our model/top level assembly. We don't want to give them anything else, so we save off the top level assembly as a different name and remove almost all of the sub assemblies. We then save as an IGES file and send to the customer.

Would making a configuration with suppressed sub assemblies be faster? Could the customer unsuppressed the IGES file and get the data we do not want them to have access too?
