    Shell after C'Bore

      I have a part where the shell was created after modeling the C'bore for the hole, and the hole was added after the shell. Normally, this works great except in the particular situation.

      From the picture a gap is shown between the inside wall of the c'bore diameter and the inner surface of the shell. I can close the gap by copying the surface, and thicken, but I do not believe that is the best approach. The other problem is the shell takes almost 10 secs as two other similar c'bores are in the model.

      I am thinking it would be better to shell the model before adding the c'bore to speed up the shelling process, but the c'bore is deeper than the wall thickness. Has anyone found a good method to model c'bore in injection-molded plastic parts without extensive workarounds?
