This has probably been asked a million times already as I have seen many discussions about how to do it however I am at an crossroads where I have been taking other macros and been looking at them and trying to customize an existing macro to perform the way I want it to and to say the least I am relatively new to the API and Macro creation of Solidworks.

So here is what I am looking/trying to do (This is all for assembly BOM export):

Export a Solidworks BOM using a macro to create a excel sheet to import into a purchasing software.  Taking the "Part Number" and putting it in column "F" of an Excel sheet rather than having it in Column "C" type of thing.  I have to move the Quantity, Part Number and Vendor to different columns than what they are in when you just right click and go "Save As" to allow for import into our software that we are using.  Other categories such as StockSize have to be omitted from the exported BOM.  IS this something that is even possible using a macro?

Right now this entire process is done by hand BOM by BOM and at a release rate of 3-4 BOM per day being able to do this type of function would relieve a large amount of work that needs to be done by our purchasing department (1 person).
