I am trying to link the overall dimensions of a flat pattern (length, width) to the part properties show I then can link them to a drawing.
To get this I use the attached macro - I have no idea who wrote it so the credit goes to anonymous

Open your drawing Template and edit the sheet format, then add this note - $PRPSHEET:"Stocksize" -
then open the part file and run the macro
Put the attached macro in a folder - unzip it and then open from there
The macro will automatically create a Custom Property called Stocksize, you may have to run the macro and open up the custom property tab to see if it's there and then save the file - open the drawing that has the above note property add the part..
When I do that the "Stock Size" is not accurate.
You ran the macro while the part was in the Bent position, go to the flat pattern configuration and then try the macro..
