any one can help me with more material library ? materials like SAE 1020 AISI 4130 and many more ? thanks
I have used matweb.com in the past. If you subscribe you can download files directly into Solidworks Material Database. Very powerful and complete website
I do agree with you that it is hard to find and add materials and that it is hard to make sure your data is correct.
I'm currently working on a website to manage your SolidWorks material library better. You will be able to easily add materials, organize and share your materials and libraries and find errors in your current specifications. Later versions will support a global database that you can add to and use from. We will then also start supporting other CAD programs, so from then on you'll only need a single library for multiple programs.
I hope there are people here that I can help with this tool. If I can, please let me know!
