Smart Dimension Equation Not Working? Windows 10, v2015 Student License

Question asked by Blaine Beron-Rawdon on Jul 27, 2016

SW15 Student License, Windows 10, beginner: Attempting to name a dimension and reference it in another dimension with an equation.  When I enter the name I click on the little ball and then the green check.  I can toggle back and forth between the name and the value by clicking the ball.  But when I leave the dimension and come back, the name is not there.  If I go to another dimension there is no option to select the name as a variable.  I have read that there may be a conflict w/ Windows 10.  How to resolve this with a Student License?  Equations are important!
