creo 2.0

Question asked by Mike Russell on Jul 27, 2016

I have files from Creo 2.0 in which cuts and other geometry has been preformed at the .asm level.

When I import the files into Solidworks (2016 premium) I only get the root .prt file. none of the features created at the .asm level

are applied to the model.

I have verified this with the customer and using PTC Creo viewer.

Also there are .err files that Solidworks creates which state unsupported version.

But it opens as an assembly  and the root part is in the tree.

Any one having this issue?

I don't want to ask the customer to save the files in some other format as there are lots of files.

Thanks
