I took over a computer from someone that gives memory error when I open up more than five solid models at once or 7-10 drawings at once.
I know there is a way to delete old memory that solidworks holds on to but I can't remember where or how to.
Kyle Anderson, try running SolidWorks Rx. It is a good diagnostic tool and it cleans up clutter.
I have not seen this happen. When the file is closed and reopened, the "memory leak" problem should no longer be present. I would guess that the files may have been prepared with some less than efficient modeling practices.
