Save as dwg resulting in overlapping lines of flat pattern drawing views.

I have a Drawing file with a bunch of sheet metal parts on it in their flat pattern configurations. When I save as a dwg all of the resulting outer profile lines are overlapping. I assume that its doing one for the top outer profile of the part and one for the bottom outer profile. I was wondering if there was a way to remove these overlap entities or map them to separate layers so that one could be removed. The overlaps are causing issues with our CNC so any help would be appreciated.
