We fixed this issue in the upcoming Service Pack. The fix is also included in our 2017 Beta version. I would encourage you to download the Visualize 2017 Beta from the link in your SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal and try the same process to make sure what you are trying to achieve is possible.
Thanks for the reply. Even with my Visualize serial number registered on the Portal, I do not see any 2017 Visualize content available. Suggestions?
Never mind, I contacted my VAR and they pointed me to the SOLIDWORKS 2017 Beta download. I forgot that the main installer now includes the Visualization package.
