I am trying to model a rubber bumper with a hole in it. Using a non force driven model the solution stops when the buckling occurs even if the force driver is greater than the buckling load. Using a displacement driven model failure is reached at buckling. I need to power thru the buckling and understand the complete force deflection curve of the assembly. Using force control on the model. Arc length control cannot be used on a contact problem. The housing holding the rubber is modeled as rigid and the part applying the load is also considered rigid to simplify the model.
