I dont open directly my solid file (part, assembly) by clicking mouse.I must run Solidworks and click open file.My version is 2016.Can someone help me?
Welcome to the forum. I assume you mean you're trying to open a file directly from Windows Explorer? I do that all the time without any problems, but I always have SolidWorks open first. Have you tried that?
that's my problem.T want to open my file directly from Window Explorer.
One possibility could be that Windows is not being directed to open SW when a file is clicked with ".SLDPRT" extension.
It should open without any problems, even if you dont have SolidWorks opened. You can check which is the default application to open .sldprt files... Right click on any part document and select properties. Under the General tab make sure that the Solidworks Launcher is selected.
thanks Romel.I did it.
And do you have tutorials about Render?
Hi Cuong, glad you got it sorted.
Unfortunately I dont have any tutorials or manuals about rendering, however I would suggest looking in youtube as there are a lot of examples!
Also, if you have SW professional you can use SW Visualize where you can get better results compared to Photoview.
I had exactly the same problem after I upgraded to 2016, couldn't open a file by directly clicking it in Windows Explorer.
This went on for a day or two, then started to work as before. never did figure out what was wrong.
Touch wood it hasn't occurred since.
Thanks Mark.I did it.
