Bend line location

This may be a stupid question. I was wondering if there is a way to change the bend line location. What I can see, on a flat pattern the bend line is in the middle of the radius. We work alot with sheet metal parts, aluminum and stainless steel. We bend our items on a break press and a box bender. Using the break press, the bend line in the middle is fine. But when we use the box bender the bend line needs to be to the inside not the middle. Is their a way to change this? Maybe I'm just missing something. Any help would be great.

Over in the Feature Manager for your bend there are three buttons that control where the bend line is calculated from. About mid pane.

Is this what you are looking for?

  Yes I tried that but in the flat pattern it still puts the bend location line in the middle of the bend. Maybe you can not change where that bend reference line is. I will work with it more.

    In the part, Right click on the Flat-Pattern, Edit Feature, Unselect Merge Faces, and the tangent lines will appear on the model and in the drawing. Not sure if this is what you want...

In combination with Dan's advice, you may need to activate the Tangent Lines Option.
