Hi All,
Thanks to everyone for being so helpful on my last post, 'Sorry to re-post this, but im stuck for a solution....
when making the curve driven pattern, I wish to use equal spacing for my treads, (this way when the number of treads changes they will always be correctly placed).
when i click the equal spacing option however, the spacing although showing the correct value - in this case 1/20th of the height - appears to fly past the end of my guide curve. when i enter the same value manually it snaps back into the correct position. (see pics)
you can observe this in the attached part file, by editing the Crvpattern2 feature and toggling the equal spacing on and off - the value (D1) is unchanged, but the preview of the treads alters.
I'm scratching my head!
any thoughts?
thanks
ralph
