What option do you change to change the line color from black to white for example? been through options and haven't come along it. see I'm more of a black back ground person
Hi Todd ,
you can use the Line Format tool for this and can use it to change the colour, style or Weight of lines
it can be found here :
EDIT : just noticed you were probably not talking about drawings , the only place you would be able to change the colour for your model window would be under the color selectors in the options, that being said I do not think there is an option for the edge outlines.
Yes that what I'm talking about it. wasn't clear enough. That would really SUCK if you can't change that. You seamed to change everything else. Hopefully someone has a answer
Is this what you are looking for?
Options -> System Options -> Colors -> Edges in Shaded with Edges Mode -> Edit...
no but thank you. I found that one. it's when your in "Hidden Line Visible" mode I want to turn those line like red for example and keep hidden as is
Well try as I might, I'm afraid I'm stuck like you.
You must have a heavy AutoCAD background, or another platform with that display style?
Mike I was other platform. We all had back grounds. Really sucks you can't change this line color. Seams to be able to change all other but this
This option only effects hidden edges in drawings, is this what you need?
If you want to change the model edges, try here in Document Properties>Model Display>Hidden
I had the problem when I changed my SW16 colors that the viewport background was the same as the hidden line color so it looked like I had no hidden lines. Very frustrating before I figured it out.
Wireframe/HLR will change the solid black lines, if you want those white.
