Just ran SPECapc on multiple systems and don't quite understand the results.

I've gone through SPECapc looking for a description for each of the results and how they are derived. What are they really testing?

The systems in question are:

System A
Solidworks 2007 x64 SP5.0
P5E, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz
Quadro FX 3700/PCI/SSE2
4094 MB
Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional x64 Edition
Service Pack 2

and

System B
Solidworks 2007 SP5.0
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz
GeForce 7300 GT/AGP/SSE2
2047 MB
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Service Pack 2

The SPECapc scores are:

Score A:2.53 B:2.60
Graphics A:2.58 B:6.08
CPU A:2.56 B:1.09
I/O A:2.16 B:1.20
Small Case A:1.45 B:1.13
Tire A:2.81 B:2.56
GTX Assem A:2.75 B:16.21
GTX Transparent A:2.76 B:16.06
*Engine A:4.50 B:18.86

So is the Quadro a waste of money? The GeForce blows it away based on these results.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
