Is where a way to turn off the ability for a balloon to attached to edges that are under the object I am trying to balloon? I am working on putting balloons on a large assembly drawing and they keep attaching to the edges of everything under the object I am trying to balloon resulting in an arrow instead of the node. It is not a huge deal, just more of an annoyance thing when I am cruising through a drawing.
That is what I do. Some of the assemblies I work in have so many "hidden" edges under a part that it makes it difficult to find a area on the part that does not have a edge underneath it. Like I said, not the end of the world but just wonder if there is setting to turn that feature off.
You can turn this off and see if that is what you want...
Large assemblies this is nice turned off..
You could try Filtering Faces only.
When you see it try to attach to the edge, move it away.
