New TEST database work
you need to connect an old database,
where to change IP to connect to the old base?
Hi Pavel, on the server, open up the registry, and check in the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\<vaultname>
If this is a 64bit server, also check this location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases
The DB Server key is the one you would need to update.
NOTE - always take a backup of your registry before making any changes
Hope this helps
Kind regards
Prasad
Unfortunately, it has not helped
Pavel
Hi Pavel, seems like an error logging into SQL. Can you open SQL Server Management Studio, and actually login to the SQL Server to view the databases?
Thanks
