I am trying to create a sweep which uses sketch 1 as the profile, sketch 3 as the path and have the other end of the sweep match the profile of sketch 2. Any ideas?
Something like this? 2
Something like this?
trying to do what you did sir but i could not make to what you did, the is a mess how did you select the profile sir
The trick to what J did is to make sure your connectors are in the correct position and you use the centerline option. Nice job J!
This looks like it. I am using an older version of SW and can't open it. Would you send a step file of it?
Sorry... I did not pay attention to this detail...
What you have is what I am looking for, but with different dimensions. So when I loft it with the center line option on, I get this which isn't correct. What have I done wrong?
..btw, between, JMathers (using same sketches) and Jeffersons (nicer blend using different sketches)..
look at the parameters
What is incorrect with my parameters?
I made this video running your sketch.
I run the command with another similar sketch...

That's very good. Thanks for doing that. I had the control points crossed. Your video is very good.
It was a pleasure to help you ... Needing I'll be here!
@Paul Salvador I used a different sketch to illustrate the command "lofted boss"
All have a great week!
Hello Jefferson,... (sorry for my interruption).. my only point in posting was to show/reference in scale you guys did the same loft but they looked different because you used your own sketches... and a smaller arc (centerline) which made your translition look nicer (smoother).
..that is, if Richard (or JMathers) changed the 30mm centerline to ~20mm.. it would look, about the same = same loft.
Hello Paul,At no time vc was interrupted, your opinion is very welcome, valid. And Thank you very much my friend.
I suspect that what you really want though, is to create the path first and then create workplanes perpendicular to the start and end of your path for you profile sketches. Otherwise your profile gets "squashed" in the transition.
