I'm installing SW'07 from DVD on my own PC and only get into
the files a little way before I get: "Error 1335. The Cabinet file
'WinNt0.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot
be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from
the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package." ...couple things
wrong: I'm using DVD and I'm not on a network.
If I choose to ignor I get "Internal Error 2350" which interupts and aborts the instalation.
I did a search for the file on solidworks.com and came up empty. I Googled it and got a number of hits ALL related to SW, many in foreign languages, 1 saying the VAR was useless, nothing from MicroSoft but a couple shady looking places where I can download it, or something disguised as it.
So... is WinNt0.cab unique to SW? Maybe I need to try installing from CD-ROM? If I do download it from the internet where would I need to save it so it can be found during installation? What's the chances the rest of the cab files may be toast too? Anyone able to send them to me?
Thank you,
Jerry
