When I have the linked assembly open and right-click - open drawing - from the FeatureManager Design Tree it opens the drawing file.

When I save-as this drawing in the same folder it says that this file already exists.

I can't see the drawing file listed when I use the Open command (Ctrl+O) nor when I search for it.

This has happened a few times in the past few years.

I created both the drawing file and assembly file and have ownership of them.

Never checked-in the drawing file.

Everytime I save the drawing file I get an error message:

     SOLIDWORKS

          Views on inactive sheets need updating. If they are not updated, these views

          will appear emplty when the drawing is opened in the SOLIDWORKS Viewer

          or in View Only Mode. Note that the update operation might increse the

          time required to save the drawing.

          Update the drawing?
