Vertical Mouse for CAD? (Reduce Tendinitis)

I have been considering purchasing a vertical mouse to reduce tendinitis symptoms of the wrist. In the short-term, I simply switch the current mouse from the right-hand to the left-hand when the symptoms appear. I am looking for a more long-term fix to this problem.

Another Pro-E user (Pro-E forum) has recommend the Evoluent Vertical Mouse. Both Right-Hand & Left-hand versions are available. However, the VM3 is only currently available for RH. I have also noticed that 64-bit drivers are only available through a 3rd party. Has anyone used the Evoluent Vertical Mouse for CAD on a 64-bit system? If so, what is your experience?

It seems the Zero Tension Mouse & Quill Mouse are not as widely recommended for CAD due to using the arm & shoulder movements. Other reviews of vertical mice are available on ExtremeTech.
