It is not on the SW-approved hardware list. That does not mean that it will not run but you could run across more problems than you could expect if you were using an approved system. It depends on how hard you expect to "push" it.

the only hardware that is not approved is the graphics card but it can run

Yap for desktop but for laptops it is not advisable since laptop graphics card are soldered to the mother board
Also - the recommendations are that SW be run on Windows "Pro" version - it is not officially supported on Windows "Home" versions. Not sure which you have.

what do you think of the unit? how about the performance.
because its my first time to used a mobile workstation kinda missing a big screen.
Solidworks will run pretty well on this system provided the performance will smoother unless you try increaseasing no of separate part windows/features/ patterns, etc. Also The reviews says battery backup might be questionable. If the system consists of AMD card, It makes me bit worried of Solidworks Visualize which always need to be feeded with some extra resources
I have only used Dell Precision Laptops but I would suspect it will work ok. You may want to look for a docking station which will allow you to easily connect with a larger monitor, ext hard drive, etc.
