I'm struggling to bend a metal sheet with a 97,5° intern radius. It looks simple but the bending goes in the opposite direction ( close instead of open).
I hope it's clear enough!? Could you help me?
I'm using SW 2016.
Have you tried entering 82.5 instead of 97.5? I believe that will get you there.
It's not working. I can only apply a radius from 90° to 180°...
"Please enter an equal or higher number than 90° and a equal or smaller than 180°" Translated from french version
Why? Because of Gauge or bend table? You should know, that the value 82,5 is correct, because it is calculated from the fixed face of sheet metal part.
I ran into this the other day. Extremely frustrating! You have to select the other edge.
Hope that helps!
No need to select the other edge.
You should be able to click the purple arrow shown, or use the Flange Length Reverse Direction icon in the Property Manager.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Apparently the issue came from the bending radius !?! I haven't got it.
That's what I wanted to do. It was impossible at that time to enter an angle smaller than 90° ... Now it's working a clue?
