Does anyone have a standard protocol template for Solid Works drawings to ensure consistency across drawings.
Yes we have our templates and formats setup for parts and assemblies

I imagine everyone that does Drawings has at least one SW drawing template, but since they use individual company standards and sheet formats it probably wouldn't work for someone else. Why can't you take one of the default templates, alter it to suit you, and save it? Do you need guidance in how to do that?
Thanks for the reply. We are currently setting up a draughting department and we make use of a SW template already but was wondering if there was a paper based template for line weights, arrow head settings or fonts engraving depths etc. We would like to give this to someone who could draw parts the way we would like them done. We are redrawing existing products we stock.
You could give them your templates and ask them to use those only.
Thank you for the reply.
