Is there a way to Save the selected body as a separate Part from the model? I would like to use this body in another application but would rather not take the time to model it again.

Hi Zach,
You could just open the part up and go save as and give it a new name. If the part has a drawing associated with it then open the drawing up, go save as, click 'include referenced components' - then advanced option.
In the next box change the part and drawing to there new name and the folder destination then save.
You can also do this with pack and go.
Thanks
Mark
The part/boss extrude in question is part of the multibody part inview, that image is the "open" part. Or did you mean in addition to Deepak's suggestion?
No,
These are two different ways of re-using a similar part.
Deepak's way the part is linked to the original, the two ways I have described loose all links.
So in Deepak's method if the part was changed in one assembly it would also change in any other assembly it was placed in,
My way this won't happen

Yes, you can save body as separate part (using Save Bodies command under Insert > Feature) but that would be linked to this parent file.
The geometry is simple and you should be able to model it quickly in case you don't want to keep it linked/dependent.
