I'm probably doing something wrong, but whenever I have a
sketch and ctrl-drag it to make a copy, none of the relations copy
over.
For example: I have a rounded slot with tangent relations to the ends, and when I ctrl-drag it copy does not have any relations.

Exactly how are you ctrl-dragging your sketch to make a copy? The relationships copy across just fine on all of the simple test cases that I tried.
As Matt said, if you generated a sketch by offseting or converting edges that were tangent, and then ctrl-drag that sketch, the new sketch will not have any relations, because the tangency was in the edges, not in the sketch lines.
This is not a sketch with external references.

OK, I get the same results with the offset slot. In a sense, it's the same type of problem. If you look at the lines and arcs in the original sketch, they don't have any tangent or parallel relations. All of the "intelligence" is in the offset relations. When you copy the sketch, the offset relations don't get copied, so the new sketch has no intelligence at all, except for the vertical relation of the construction line. It certainly seems reasonable to me that the offset would be copied with the rest of the geometry, but apparently some software guy at SW disagreed. Looks like a fine opportunity to fill out an enhancement request.
Bump.
