I have attempted to troubleshoot the problem I am having with the license file provided to me by Solidworks. With SW2007, everything worked fine, and even with SW2008 after the upgrade of the Solidworks License Manager to the latest version as specified in the upgrade manual. However, the license has stopped working, and I'm trying to figure out where the problem exists.

Currently I have tried the following:
1) Added "VENDOR SW_D" and "USE_SERVER" lines to the license file.
The error I get at this point is:

14:22:00 (lmgrd) pid 4080

2) Removed "VENDOR SW_D" and "USE_SERVER" lines to the license file.
Therefore the license looks exactly as sent to me by the automated system.
The error I get at this point is:

14:27:57 (lmgrd) pid 1820
14:27:57 (lmgrd) Done rereading
14:27:57 (lmgrd) FLEXnet Licensing (v11.4.100.0 build 50818 i86_n3) started on myserver (IBM PC) (7/15/2008)

14:27:57 (lmgrd) (There are no VENDOR (or DAEMON) lines in the license file),
lmgrd exiting.

3) Reinstalled the driver using the command line and typing "haspdinst.exe -i".
Installation was successful, but the problem as shown above remain.

4) Verified the server had the services "lmgrd.exe", "sw_d.exe", and
"swlmwiz.exe" were exempt from the DATA EXECUTION PREVENTION rules.
They are part of the exemption list, but the problem still persists.

If anyone has any idea of what may be going on, I'd really appreciate the help! We have many people at work that need Solidworks on a daily basis, and not having the server operate properly right now brought their work to a halt.

Thank you!
Gunnar
