Good morning guys,

I been working on implementing PDMWORKS WORKGROUP to manage and assist our design process. What been attractive to us is the lifecycle and revision applications. This said, trying it on my own, i haven't been able to accomplish what i was heading for. I wonder if its not just the way i see it that is wrong.

Goal to achieve:

5 lifecycle:

Design: Secondary incrementation (01,02,03) to track design process
Approuval: Status is changed and automated Ownership swtich
Approuved: No owner/ read only / primary incrementation (A,B,C)
Review: Secondary incrementation (01,02,03) to track design process
Obsolete: Read only

Cycle example is:
Design: 05 (Check in to Vault multiple times until rev 05)
Approuval: 05 (Status switched into Vault and Ownership to Mr.X)
Approuved: A05 (Mr.X approuved and no owner switch)
Review: A06 (check out A05 + modification.... check in to A06)
Approuval: A06 (Status switched into Vault and Ownership to Mr.X)
Approuved: B06 (Mr.X approuved and no owner switch)

Problem is i have issue having the status change incrementing the revision at the approuved lifecycle
.......

Setting i use:
Last revision type optionnal option checked
Primary revision list as follow (-,A,B,C)
Secondary revision range as follow (01 to 99)
Design lifecycle enable secondary incrementation
Approuval lifecycle enable no incrementation
Approuved lifecycle enable primary incrementation
Review lifecycle enable secondary incrementation

Thanks to anyone willing to give me some support and nice input.

Regards,
Sébastien

P.S.: Can anyone tell me if its possible to link the approuved lifecycle status user to the revision table in Solidworks??
