Large Radius Corners

Is ther a way in SW 2008 to automatically close large radius corners? I have included a sample part to show what I am asking.

Jim,

That works for filling the gap for modeling purposes, but I want to close the notch so when I form up the part I can fuse the material together. This slot is to large to weld then clean. This would seem like a pretty common issue. I can't believe SW has not addressed this.

Ron, Would miter flanges work for you? I don't think you can overlap the material but you can get the inside corners to butt up to each other.
