According to ISO1101, to define geometric tolerance in 3D view, we can use Intersection and Orientation plane .
but in solidworks 2016 i cant find this symbol .
where i can find this symbols?
The geometric windows and located under this tab.
And opens this window.
You populate the rest of the fields as needed.
thank,i can insert tolerance frame !
i want to insert Intersection and Orientation plane symbol.
Intersection and Orientation plane symbols have been added to iso 1101 - 2012 for 3D geometric tolerance presentation.
I tried changing from ANSI to ISO in System options / Document Properties / Annotations but has no change on the Geometric tolerances.
These views are all that is available.
I do not have a copy of ISO 1101:1202 (E), my guess is that ISO 1101:1202 (E) is not supported exactly like your insert illustrates.
I know this is not correct geometric dimensioning, just used for illustration of what SOLIDWORKS can achieve.
I finally add intersection & Orientation plane indicators by block.
i cant find these symbol in solidworks
Mojtaba, We are always interested to gain feedback from our users. Most of our enhancements to SOLIDWORKS is based on user input. These even applies to the individual standards that SOLIDWORKS supports. Currently, we have not received significant input from our customers who interested in supporting these cases from the 2012 standard. If you need these elements available in SOLIDWORKS, please file an Enhancement Request. In your request, be sure to include real world example of where you need this capability. This will help us determine the best way to implement the request, since the images within the standards are only just general examples.
