Hi there,
I'm currently modelling a drill. I need to make a loft between the green edge and tha sketch in the first screenshot below. As you can see in the second screenshot, the existing surface body consists of 3 faces. That means i can't loft directly between the two edges.
How can i merge these three faces into one? I always used "merge tangent faces" and "start/end constraints set to tangency to face.

if you want to merge those faces, ctrl select those faces and invoke the 'knit surface' command from insert->surface->knit
