Trying to purchase a laptop for college engineering...log into solidworks 3d with code. have been told the HP Spectre x360 will work by sales folks but have my doubts ...
Does an HP Spectre have a dedicated graphics card, or is it integrated graphics? Even if it has a dedicated graphics card, is it one of the ones listed here: Graphics Card Drivers | SOLIDWORKS
I have a surface pro 3 on which I installed SolidWorks, it works pretty well, but not so much when I try to open larger, more complex models.
My suspicion is that SolidWorks would install and work fine on a HP Spectre, you may problems with realview graphics or Photoview360 due to a non-supported graphics card.
