This Thumb Screw Knob part file is larger than expected. Configurations were created based on the color option for a #10 knob from Micro Plastics. Does a better method for creating configurations exist that the current method used in this part file?

As this knob is press fit onto the head of a SHCS, what is the best method for creating a hole with only the C'bore and not the clearance hole. In this model, I made the clearance hole only .005" more in length than the C'bore depth as SW would not except a zero for this dimension. I do not have the actual dimensions from Micro Plastics for this c'bore hole (press onto #10 SHCS head) as these are not posted on the Micro Plastics website. As an injection-molded part, it most likely has draft angle of 1 or 2 degree.

As this is a SW 2007 model, I would be interested in suggested improvements so this model could be used as a template in creating future thumb screw knobs of various sizes.
