At the risk of duplicating this question (the search facility is next to useless for refining)

I've opened an assembly that was upgraded from 2007 (not my original file) and it has smart fasteners.
After opening in 2008 the fasteners are all greyed out and I can not get SW to create them. I thought that Toolbox would ask if you wanted them created?

The system is looking for a created part that has been saved in the copied directory.
I've checked my advanced options to see if the popup has been turned off.

Don't know what else to do.
