Strange Lines

Any suggestions on how I can get rid of the black lines on the gray cover of the attached graphic, or better yet, what is causing them? I was playing around with textures and colors for this part/features, but I have removed all colors except the top level color for the part only, so no colors have been assigned in the assembly.
