I have an assembly made of a shaft inside the hole of a block.  When a section view is made through the hole I can't dimension the shaft inside the hole.  The hole has a surface knit around it.  I am pretty sure that is what is causing the issue but was wondering if there were any workarounds,settings that could be changed, or new versions of SW that could help solve the issue.  The only workaround I have found so far is to hide the block, dimension the shaft, and then unhide the block within the drawing view.  Using SW2012 sp5
