I have just started using the caterpillar notation for some welded up components and it is giving me trouble. On some features it will not show up at all. You select the edge and the property manger comes up but no weld bead is shown. Also on some other parts that I have created the weld bead (caterpillar) is not editable or selectable. Other part I have no problem editing the caterpillar.

Also the help file says that you can adjust the length of the weld by draging the end points. Well on the parts that I using the feature on it does not work well. I have a circular part on to a flat plate.

This feature is very important as almost all our part have some sort of welding step.

Any suggestions or tip on using this notation. I have attached two screen shots of my drawings that I am having trouble
