How to combine QTY on single item with multiple configs

In my model I have several parts that are LH and RH versions. I prefer to detail one part and note that it has an opposite version.

In my BOM I would like to combine the QTY of this part so that it shows there are (2) pcs and not listed as (2) different part numbers with QTY=1.

How do I achieve this?
