I noticed yesterday that, when inserting new views into my
drawings, they don't show up with hidden lines visible like they
usually do. I went to the options menu to make sure the option was
selected, but to my dismay, I found that the entire "Display style
for new views" and "Display quality for new views" option boxes
were grayed out. These are on the system options tab, and without
the drawing open, the options are available again. Also unavailable
(grayed-out) are the "Show contents while dragging view", "Smooth
dynamic motion of drawing views", and "Automatically hide
components on view creation". I'm running Solidworks 2008 SP0.1
(yeah, I know I need to upgrade to a later SP). Does anyone know
why these options are not available when I open the drawing? Is
there a setting on the drawing itself that locks out those options?
Any help would be great.
