Is it possible for a PDM Standard (Standalone) work together with a PDM Standard (network license)?

Work together as in access the same vault, participate in the same workflow. It is because I have a CAD license which is standalone, and the other is a network license. Would the different type of serial number for the CAD editor Standard be a problem?
