When I open a project in SolidWorks Visualize, the model slowly sinks down out of view. I suspect it has to do with my 3DConnexion controller. I have to keep pulling it up. Also, where is the zoom all?
If it's your spaceball, re calibrate it. That should stop the unwanted movement. Don't touch the controller while it's calibrating.
That seems to have done the trick. Thanks!
Do you know where the zoom all is?
How about saving the view orientation?
If you mean on the space ball, the buttons are programmable to whatever you want them to be thru the setting software.
Forgetting the Spaceball for a moment, how would I do a zoom all in Visualize? I'm sure there's a hot key...right?
Now, back to the Spaceball...
1. It is FAR too sensitive. The model just flies off the screen no matter how gently I try.
2. None of the buttons seem to do anything as far as I can tell.
Hi Mike ,
you Zoom in by holding down ALT+RMB
all other hot keys can also be toggled on/off by using the F12 button
Depending on Spaceball model, there should be a "FIT" button on your right (if you're Spaceball is used by your left hand)
