    Form tools

Are there any good tutorials on Sheet Metal Form Tools. The tutorial in Solidworks doesn't even mention it.
      Thanks

Solidworks help in this section is very vague.

Aw come on, there's just enough info to get you in trouble.

Creating forming tools is too simple now. Build a model that looks like the forming tool die. Open one of the samples given to see what it should look like. Save the model in your \design library\forming tools\subfolder name folder. Click on the forming tool icon in your sheetmetal toolbar. In the property manager click in the stopping face selection box and then select the stopping face in the graphics area. If your forming tool is going to create openings in your sheetmetal part, then you will need to click in the Faces to Remove selection box of the property manager and then select the faces on the model that will create the hole. Click the Ok button and save the model again.

You now have a forming tool that you can use. You use to have to do most of this work manually. You would create a base extrude. Create the forming tool features. Then cut away the base feature. You would manually create your orientation sketch and color faces to remove red.
