I have tried everything I know of. A straight tube is no problem but an eccentric tube has got me baffled. Thanks
Draw a ellipse and add a small gap in the sketch and insert Sheet Metal
Thanks for answering but the ends are round and not concentric. This view shows it at the small end. The bigger end is tangent to the smaller
Oh - my bad,
That is an easy pc to design, offset a plane from the front plane based on the length of the tube, then add the big diameter circle there, add a very small split, then in the front plane draw the smaller circle, again add a split, then use the lofted sheet metal feature.
A lofted sheet metal feature seems to work for me using SW2014-SP5.
Sketches of your big and little circles on parallel planes. Be sure to include the gap.
