I have created, a part that is basically the outline of a
square, with no bottom edge with the 2 corners of the square
rounded. Basically it looks like a square horse shoe.
I need to put an edge flange on all the edges (except the bottom), to include the edge for the rounded corners.
I know that usually to create a curved edge flange you just select the edge flange feature and then select the curved edge....and then customize the length, and radius...My trouble is, Solidworks isn't even letting me selected the edge for the rounded corners. I tried selecting them while I am selecting the linear edges, and it wouldn't let me...so I tried selecting the edges for the rounded corners all on their own, without selecting any linear edges and it still won't let me select the edges for the rounded corners.....
Do i have to create a plane or something so I can select the edges for the rounded corners
