People have discussed this before, I know, but I wanted to raise the issue again to see if anyone has developed a good work around.

I am designing a keyboard and I want to split the button faces with text. As most of us are aware the split function lets you split multiple faces with one contour or line (if it spans the entire face/surface). In contrast, the wrap function allows you to split one surface with multiple closed contours.

What I would like for my keypad is to split multiple faces with multiple closed contours (in my case text). This would help me keep my feature tree clean, and would save lots of time. Solidworks, are you listening?

So, does anyone have an elegant method to get around this problem?
