Hello everyone,
Quick question...I'm trying to simulate the behavior of fluid (air) as it is injected into a mixing tank full of water. The mixing tank is a simple cylinder with an impeller in it that creates the motion of the water in the tank.
The air is injected into the tank from the bottom. I would like to see the movement of the air through the tank as a result of the mixing.
I'm not concerned with any dissolving of air into the water or any other effects, only the path that the air takes while in the water.
Is SW Flow Simulation able to do this?
Answers will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
David
What you are looking for is fluid-fluid interfaces with deforming meshes, and this capability is not present in the software. At best you could do an independant simulation of the water and see a time-frozen trajectory path of bubbles of a specified size.
