Does anyone or has anyone had problems installing the 64bit Version of ) 08?
I can't believe I have a damaged DVD, is there a place on the SW portal to download the installation files? my "common0.cab file is corrupt!

I'm not familiar with that kind of problem, but you can download the installation files from Customer Portal. On the main page go to the "Downloads and Updates" page. Select the version you want to install. This will install the SolidWorks Installation Manager. When you run the installation manager, it will prompt you to select where you want to get the source files from. If you choose to download them, it will download everything you need. It'll take a few hours, but it will get everything.
