Is turning off Virtual Memory in windows xp a good idea when you have 4GB of ram?
If your memory limits (4GB) are within the amount of ram you have (4gb), is there any reason not to turn off virtual memory?

For those of you don't know what virtual memory is, it is hard disk space you computer uses as ram. Virtual memory is much slower then ram (on the order of 1/30 of ram speed). Virtual memory setting are found under Control Panel-->System-->Advanced (tab)-->Performance (box)-->Settings--> Advanced (tab) --> Virtual Memory (box) --> Change.
